Can the blanks in fill-in-the-blank questions accept more than one correct answer?

Yes! To learn more about adding fill-in-the-blank questions to a quiz, read the help article How do I add a fill-in-the-blank question to a quiz?. Otherwise, follow these steps:

Click Properties.

Click Properties.

From the short answer question editor, click Properties. You can do so before you begin writing your fill-in-the-blank question stem or after you've already written your question.

 

Tick Multiple Correct Answers.

In the Answer Type tab, tick Multiple Correct Answers and Close to exit the Question Properties window.

 

Type your fill-in-the-blank question and hit Enter.

Type the first possible correct answer for your first blank and hit Enter.

Continue typing possible correct answers, hitting Enter after each.

Hit Enter to move from possible answers for the first blank to possible answers for the second.

If your question contains more than one blank, hitting Enter after the last possible answer for the first blank will bring you to a new field where you can begin providing possible answers for the second blank.

 

Click Save when you're done.
