Why should I set up deep integration?

Because your instructor has required it! Chances are, your instructor will be tracking your work through her LMS (Blackboard, D2L, or Canvas) gradebook. So if your LaunchPad/Writer's Help 2.0 grades aren't appearing there, she won't know you're doing your work, and you won't get credit for it.

Besides the obvious, LMS integration provides you with three main benefits:

  • Single sign-on access to LaunchPad/Writer's Help 2.0
  • All your assignments in one place
  • All your grades in one place

Read on to find out more!

Sign in once

After you create a new LaunchPad/Writer's Help 2.0 account or link an existing account to your LMS course, you'll never have to do it again. Thereafter, each time you go to your LMS course and click on an assignment from LaunchPad/Writer's Help 2.0, the assignment will open right up.

See all your assignments in one place

Just because your instructor wants to pull from various resources to create your assignments, doesn't mean you should have to scour multiple sites to locate the work you're supposed to do! Deep integration allows you to see and complete every assignment from within your LMS course.

See your grades in one place

Similarly, with deep integration, you'll have one place to track your scores. No math required! Work that you do on LaunchPad/Writer's Help 2.0 assignments will be recorded in the LaunchPad/Writer's Help 2.0 gradebook, but those grades will also automatically flow into your LMS gradebook.
