- Texts are documents (e.g. reading passages) that students use as a stimulus for writing. Teachers can have students use the WriterKey Text Marking Tool to annotate these texts prior to responding to a prompt.
- Resources are supporting documents that help students on an assignment. Resource examples include Model Texts, an Assignment Sheet, a video, or background document.
