Click the unit to which you want to add a new question


 

Click "Bridge"


 

Click on “Edit Assignment”


In the "Problems" menu on the right.
 

Click on “Create a new standard exercise”

This will create a new Bridge problem.

 

Click on the new “Standard Exercise”


At the bottom of the Problems menu on the right.
 

Click “Add New Question”


 

Choose question settings

Use the default settings for Bridge Questions:
  1. Question Type: Radio
  2. Display Feedback: After the deadline
  3. Participation Credit: 100%

Then click Add Question.


Question Type: Radio, Display Feedback: After the deadline, Participation Credit: 100%
 

Click the pencil icon (edit) to the right of “Prompt for the question"

This is where you will enter your question.


 

Click on the various parts of the question/answers/help/solution to make your edits

  1. Enter question under prompt
  2. Enter answers in boxes
  3. Select the correct answer at the bottom

 

Click the "Close" button


 

Click "Add New Question" to add the rationale question after the bridge question you just created:


 

Choose question settings

Use the default settings for rationale questions:
  1. Question Type: Comment, not Free Response
  2. Display Feedback: After the deadline
  3. Participation Credit: 100%

Then click Add Question.



 

Click the pencil icon (edit) to the right of “Prompt for the question"

The usual text for the rationale question is something like, "Please explain your rationale for your answer to the previous question."
