Follow these instructions if you want to add or change the label for the answers in your multiple choice questions. The options available are uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and roman numerals. These labels are applied question by question. There are no batch settings for question labels.

Begin by adding a multiple choice question into your quiz. For more information on how to do this, see the help article How do I enter my own questions into a quiz?. If you have just created a question, jump to Click "Properties". If you have previously added a multiple choice question to your quiz or you need to edit existing questions, follow the instructions below.

Edit your quiz and view questions

Locate the quiz in your table of contents, hover over it, click More Options, then click Edit. Click on the Questions tab to view your questions. Depending on your LaunchPad, you may see a Review & Modify tab instead.

Edit your question

If your quiz has a Questions tab, hover over the question and click the Edit link.

If your quiz has a Review & Modify tab, click the Edit link on the right of the question.

Click on the image to zoom in.

Click "Properties"

Check the box for "Display choice labels"

Select a label type from the drop-down

Click the "Close" button

Click "Save" to save your question

Note that the labels are now uppercase letters.
