Note: The following instructions are for Writer's Help 2.0, but the same steps also apply when using a LaunchPad access code.

If you followed the instructions on the Writer's Help 2.0 access card that was shrink-wrapped with the package you purchased in your bookstore, then you probably went directly to the URL of your Writer's Help 2.0 title and registered your access code there. Sound familiar? If so, follow these steps to link the Writer's Help 2.0 account you created with your Blackboard course.

Log in to your institution's Blackboard site

Enter your Blackboard username and password. Click Login.

Find your instructor's course

Locate your course on your institution's home page or through the Courses page in the top-right navigation bar. Click the title of your course to open it.

Click on the image to zoom in.

Locate your Writer's Help 2.0 assignments

In the left sidebar, navigate to where your instructor has put Writer's Help 2.0 content and click on the content area to open it. In this example, the content area is called Writer's Help 2.0, but your instructor can name it whatever they prefer. Other examples might include "Assignments," "Content," "LaunchPad," or "Macmillan." If you're not sure where to find Writer's Help 2.0 assignments, ask your instructor.

Click on a Writer's Help 2.0 assignment

Look for the red flag icon and click the title of any assignment that has one. Doing so will begin the process of linking Blackboard with Writer's Help 2.0.

Which screen do you see?

You'll see one of a few different screens, depending on how your campus IT team set up your institution's Blackboard integration with Writer's Help 2.0. When you see your screen, follow the instructions provided.
