The solution tab is what students see if they give up (and don't receive any credit for the question) or get the question right and choose to view the solution (click on that tab). This tab should fully explain the answer in a way that students can understand without any outside assistance. This tab may not be viewable if the instructor has disabled it.

The correct tab is what students see if they input the right answer. Generally, the correct tab just has the word “Correct” at the bottom right hand corner. There should be no explanation here; that’s what the solution tab is for.
