LaunchPad > My ebook page does not progress when I click the "Read on" button. What can I do to fix this?

This problem can occur when your highlighting extends between sections. Follow the instructions below for details on how to use the "Clear highlights" feature to resolve this problem. 

Locate the problem

  1. In the section of the ebook below you'll notice that this student highlighted continuously between two sections.
  2. When you try to click "Read on" below to see the rest of your ebook, you'll notice that the button will not respond.

Click "Notes" and "Clear Highlights"

Note: simply removing the singular instance of highlighting that's causing the problem will not re-enable the "Read on" button. You MUST use the "Clear highlights" feature.


Click "Home" in the upper left hand corner to return to the home page


Return to the ebook section


Click "Read on"
