Your instructor may require you to enter your Campus (LMS) ID when registering for a course in LaunchPad.


What if I don't know my LMS ID?

The LMS (Learning Management System) ID is usually a school-generated identifying number that allows instructors to track students by a unique number between multiple online platforms. If you do not know your LMS ID, you will have to contact your school or instructor for it.


When/where do I enter my LMS ID?

You will enter your LMS ID in LaunchPad. You may be required to enter it when you first register for your LaunchPad course. If your instructor asks you to add an ID later, or if you entered the wrong ID and need to correct it, you can edit your ID after registering.

 

When first registering

If your instructor requires you to enter your Campus (LMS) ID, you will be prompted to enter your ID number when registering for the course.


On the page titled "Please confirm this is the course you wish to join," there is a field for "Students, enter you Campus ID here."
 

View/Edit Campus LMS ID

After you have entered your Campus (LMS) ID as part of the registration process, you can make changes to your ID through a link on LaunchPad.


For your security, your Campus (LMS) ID is hidden on your LaunchPad home page. Hover your cursor over your name in the upper right-hand side of your screen, then click View/Edit Campus LMS ID to view the value you entered during registration.

From here, you can make changes to your Campus (LMS) ID.


 

Enter password and save

Once you are satisfied with your changes, enter your password and click Save. If you do not want to save your changes, you can click Cancel. If your instructor has required that you enter your Campus (LMS) ID, it is impossible to delete your ID completely.
