When working on a short answer assignment, you may see instructions telling you to drag and drop an image from your lab portfolio. If you drag and drop the image into place and see a broken link, you can use the following steps to add your image.

Click on the image to zoom in.

Copy and paste the image

Right click on the image and select "Copy Image" to add the image to your clipboard.

In your assignment, click where you want to add the image and use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+V (Cmd+V on Mac) to paste.

Some users may experience an issue copying and pasting an image when using a Chrome browser. If you are unable to copy and paste an image, try using another browser or using the alternative method below.

Copy the image URL

Right click on the image and select Copy Image Address or Copy Image Location (depending on your browser).

Select "Insert/edit image" in the assignment

Right click where you want to add the image in your assignment and select Insert/edit image from the menu.

Paste the image URL in the Source box

A box will pop up for you to add image information. Paste the URL you copied earlier into the Source box by right clicking and selecting Paste or using the shortcut key Ctrl+V (Cmd+V on Mac).

Click "Ok"

Your image is now added to your assignment.
