Navigate to Site administration > Plugins > Web services > Manage tokens to create a token for the authorized user account.

On the Manage tokens page click the Add link.

On the Create token page:
  1. For Username / User id type the username of the Moodle administrator account.
  2. For Service, type in the name of the external service (Macmillan Learning).
  3. Either select an expiration date in the distant future or create a non-expiring token.
  4. Click Save changes.

Very Important: Send the access token securely to your Macmillan LMS Coordinator or System Support Engineer (see Technical Support for the Moodle Administrator).
