You can add a passcode to your quiz to make your quiz more secure and to help prevent cheating. You can add a passcode to a new quiz or jump to "Click Settings" to add a passcode to a pre-existing quiz.

Note that Allow save and continue in the quiz settings will be disabled if you use a passcode.


Click "Add New"

Click "Quiz"

Click "Settings"

Click the "Passcode" radio button

Note that Allow save and continue will be disabled if you use a passcode.

Enter your passcode

Passcodes must be at least 8-20 characters including one uppercase letter, one number, and no special characters.

Until your passcode fulfills the passcode requirements you will see an error message next to a red X.

Once your passcode fullfills the passcode requirements you will see Passcode Works next to a green checkmark.


Click on the image to zoom in.


Click "Save"

Click "Apply Passcode"

Note that you must distribute your passcode to your students before students can access the quiz.
