Why do I see the "NO BASE" message or red light?

There are a few reasons you may receive the NO BASE message on your iClicker 2 remote or a red light on the original iClicker or iClicker + remotes.

Below are a few possible solutions:

1. Make sure that you are set to the same frequency that your instructor is using. This is the most common cause of these indicators. The instructions to change your iClicker frequency are on the back of the remote, and below. Important: You can only change your frequency once a session has begun.

2. Please make sure your instructor’s attendance, polling, or quizzing session has already started. You will not be able to participate until a session has started.
