iClicker warrants all new remotes to be free from defects in workmanship and materials, under normal use and conditions, for a period of 365 days from the date of original purchase of a new remote.
This warranty is valid only if the product is used for the purpose for which it was designed. It does not apply to:
- Used remotes
- Products that have been damaged by negligence or willful actions, misuse, or accident, or which have been modified or repaired by unauthorized persons
- Cracked or broken cases, or remotes damaged by excessive heat
- Remotes purchased outside the United States or Canada
Before submitting for a replacement under the warranty, please first replace all batteries with fresh batteries, as exhausted or defective batteries are often the cause of problems encountered (e.g., the remote shutting off when a button is pressed).
Should a new iClicker remote fail to function in a satisfactory manner after replacing the batteries, please return it to the place from which it was originally purchased with proof of purchase (e.g., the campus bookstore). Students should contact support only if they purchased their remote directly from iclicker.com or amazon.com.
