In order to use Reef to participate in your instructor's sessions, you need to find and add the course in Reef. If you can't find an instructor's course, confirm that Reef will be allowed/supported in that class–some instructors only allow the use of iClicker remotes in class. If Reef is allowed, your instructor should provide information that will help you add the course.

After signing-in to Reef or creating your account, click on the image to play the video and/or follow the instructors below.

Select the plus sign from the Courses screen

Add your institution

Search for your institution. You can only add your institution if it is already listed in Reef. If you do not find your institution, check with your instructor to see exactly how it is listed in Reef, and that you have spelled it correctly.

Find your instructor's course

Search for your instructor's name, the full name of your course, or the abbreviation. Check with your instructor to see exactly how it is listed in Reef. Select the course when you find it.

Confirm and add the course

Confirm that you have the correct course and select Add This Course. There may be multiple courses with the same name or your instructor may be using Reef with other sections of the same course, so read carefully to ensure you are selecting the right course.

See the course added to your list

The course will now appear in your Courses list. When it's time to participate in a poll, quiz, or attendance, select the course and wait for your instructor to begin.
