Create a Student Account in Reef Through a Campus Portal

Logging In
1. To access Reef using your University account, go to https://app.Reef-education.com/. We recommend bookmarking this page! 

2. No need to log in here since you’ll be using your campus portal. Simply select your university from the dropdown and click Go


3. You’ll be directed to your campus portal. Log in with your University username and password.


You’ll then be directed back to Reef. If this is your first time logging in, you can link your campus information to a school account or a personal account, or create a new account by following the steps below. 


Linking a School Account
If you’re already using Reef with your university email, you have the option of linking your current account to your Reef account. This will ensure you have access to all of your existing courses and past session data.

1. The first time you log in through your campus portal, Reef will check to see if you have an account set up with your university email. If we find one, we’ll let you know!


2. Enter the password for your existing Reef account, then click Link Accounts to associate your Reef account with your campus login. Note: If you can’t remember your Reef password, use our password reset on the Reef login page.

3. That’s it! Next time you log in through your campus portal, you’ll be dropped directly into your Reef account.


Linking a Personal Account
If you’re already using Reef with a personal (non-university) email, you still have the option of linking your current account to your Reef account. This will make sure you have access to all of your existing courses and past session data.

1. The first time you log in through your campus portal, Reef will check to see if you have an account set up with your university email. If we don’t find one, you’ll be able to link any existing Reef account with your campus login. 

2. Click the Link To Existing Reef Account button to begin.


3. Enter the email and password for the Reef account you’d like to link. 


4. Review the details and click Link Accounts to associate your existing Reef account with your campus login. 

5. Next time you log in through your campus portal, you’ll be dropped directly into your Reef account.


Creating an Account
If you’re new to Reef, you’ll have the option to create an account the first time you log in. 

1. From the account setup page, select the Create A New Reef Account button to start setting up your new Reef account.


2. We’ll fill out your profile information based on your university account. Read and accept our Privacy Policy & Terms of Use, then click Next


3. Create a Reef password and confirm it. IMPORTANT: You will need this password to log in to the Reef iPhone or Android apps. Logging in from the website will always ask you to log in with your campus portal account.


4. Click the Create Account button. This will create your new Reef account and associate it with your campus login. 

5. Next time you log in through your campus portal, you’ll be dropped directly into your Reef account.


Using our Mobile Apps
Using your campus login to access your Reef account is only available for the Reef web application. If you’ll be using our Reef iOS or Android apps, you’ll need to log in with your Reef account information: the email you registered and your Reef password.
