R3.6.1 (Web) - June 2017

This is a web-only platform update.

IMPROVEMENTS

  • Improved performance, reliability, and stability for gradebook

KNOWN ISSUES

  • Exported .xls report for Target questions always displays (NR) rather than points or Correct/Incorrect for student response. The correct points are awarded and are accurately shown in the report totals. It is only a display issue for the individual student response that is incorrectly shown as (NR).
  • On the Quizzing results page (on the web) the score on the detail view is rounding up to the nearest whole integer. Score details are accurate on the timeline and other areas of the web app.

R3.6.0 (Win/Mac/Web) – May 2017

This is an optional update.

FEATURES/IMPROVEMENTS

  • Product graphics/name rebranded to iClicker Cloud.
  • New MSI installer to install iClicker Cloud Windows application. The MSI installer offers administrators better deployment support.
  • Attendance is now a public beta available to all instructors without requiring special account activation.
  • Courses can be specified as using “Attendance only” from the WEB course settings and when creating a course from the WEB.
    • Students exclusively enrolled in Attendance-only courses will not see the subscription notification banner.
    • Attendance-only courses have the Start Polling and Start Quizzing options disabled on WEB.
    • Attendance-only courses appear in the desktop software but have the Start Polling/Quizzing button hidden and settings are disabled. Instructors can continue to access any polls or quizzes run prior to changing the course to Attendance-only but new polls/quizzes cannot be run until the setting is changed so that course is no longer Attendance-only.
  • Attendance supports an export option that includes notes and choosing which session(s) to export.
  • Web account profile supports displaying the Gravatar avatar and opens in a drawer rather than a separate page.
  • Instructors can check for base frequency conflicts from the course settings. This allows instructors to avoid choosing a frequency already in use nearby (WIN Only)

BUG FIXES

  • FIXED: Using the Chrome browser, scrolling Gradebook with large rosters sends scrollbar all the way to the top or bottom of the table.
  • FIXED: Using the Firefox browser, the Attendance location map fails to load on first attempt after granting location sharing access to the browser.
  • FIXED: Loss of network during an active Quiz session could cause the application to crash (MAC Only)
  • FIXED: Unsupported question types are listed in the quiz session settings
  • FIXED: Results window opens with images side panel open by default during an active session (MAC Only)

KNOWN ISSUES

  • A small percent of gradebooks encounter a silent server error when the instructor deletes a session. • The Primary Discipline drop down list in the instructor’s Profile window may not close as expected under some circumstances (Chrome Only)
  • MAC Only: Some Mac users may not see a notification to update their software. Mac users with REEF 3.2 or older will be prompted to download their software via a link to the downloads page. Mac users with REEF 3.3 will not be prompted to download the latest version and will need to visit the marketing website manually.
