At Intellus Learning, we understand that utilizing resources that are accessible to all learners is an important consideration when curating content. Below you'll find frequently asked questions pertaining to accessibility.

How does Intellus' accessibility scanner work?
As Intellus gathers OER content for use in an institution's digital library, it uses an industry standard tool called AChecker to validate the web content against the WCAG2.0 accessibility standards. That information is gathered and indexed along with the other metadata for the learning resource for use in advising faculty and instructors about the appropriateness of the content for use within their course.
What accessibility standards do you follow?
Our learner experience and Intellus platform has undergone accessibility and other system reviews by prior and current clients. Please see current VPAT.
Why doesn't the WCAG 2.0 information appear when I select an OpenStax resource?
OpenStax is covered under our VPAT, which is all HTML5 and accessible.
Can I filter to see only videos with closed captioning?
Yes, there is a checkbox to view only CC videos.
