How many resources are included in the Intellus platform today?
We have crawled and indexed over 50 million learning resources.

Where is the content coming from?
Most institutions will have platforms that include our OER repository of roughly four million learning resources and content from the institution’s EBSCO license.

Do you have Lumen content in your platform?
By crawling major aggregators such as MERLOT, OER Commons, and The Orange Grove, we have collected the most commonly used OER content (including Lumen) in the OER repository.

Do you include content from government agencies and organizations?
Yes! We’ve directly crawled material from over 150 federal, state, and local government sites, including dhs.gov, fbi.gov, cia.gov, defense.gov, whitehouse.gov, justice.gov, bjs.gov, nicic.gov, ncjrs.gov, and letsmove.gov. Academic journals accessible via EBSCO also generally include government reports, and EBSCO is re-crawled frequently to capture new content.

Are there OER testbanks or PowerPoints in the platform?
Users can search for assessments and presentations as types of assets within the platform. Access to Macmillan’s instructor resources is an available professional service. Please contact support@intelluslearning.com for more information.

How can we get access to more library content?
Additional library repositories can be added to your institution’s platform and are priced separately. Common libraries such as ProQuest, JSTOR, and Alexander Street have APIs for easy inclusion. If a library service does not provide any way to gather data for Indexing in Intellus, there may be some minimal professional services required to initially include it. Please contact support@intelluslearning.com for more information.

Do you support authoring or modifying assets?
While users can change the title of a resource displayed to students, users cannot edit the actual content.

Do you inform content spending and decisioning?
The analytics included in the Intellus Learning platform can provide usage data to institutions that could inform decision making.
