Please see the directions below or the attached PDF for information on how to integrate Intellus Learning courses into Moodle.


LTI Setup

  1. Log into Moodle and navigate to Site Administration → Plugins → Activity modules → LTI → Manage external tool types

  1. Click Add external tool configuration
  2. Fill the form details:
    1. Tool Name: Intellus Learning
    2. Tool base URL: https://YOURINSTITUTION.intelluslearning.com/lti/
    3. Launch Key: will be provided during implementation
    4. Launch Secret: will be provided during implementation
    5. Custom Parameters: minitags=true
    6.  Click on Privacy and choose items from the dropdowns as below:
      1. Share launcher's name with tool: Always
      2. Share launcher's email with tool: Always
      3. Accept grades from the tool: Always
    7. Click Save changes

Course-Level Integration

  1. Before starting, identify the course integration ID of your course from within the Intellus platform (see screenshot)
The course integration ID is a 4-digit number found to the right of "Course Experience Widget" between <div ace-mini-tag> and </div>.
  1. Navigate to your course, and turn editing on 
  2. Click on Add an activity or resource for a given section of the course
  1. Select External tool and click Add
  2. Fill in the following details:
    1. Activity name: [course or lesson name related to the content]
    2. External tool type: Intellus Learning
    3. Click on Show more
    4. Custom Parameters: tag_id=[course integration ID]
  1. Click Save and Display
