Whether you are entering your own questions into a quiz or editing a publisher-provided question, you can provide feedback to students after they answer a question. All question types have general feedback, which is given to students regardless of their answer, and some question types, like multiple choice and short answer/fill-in-the-blank, offer specific feedback for each answer choice.
Edit your quiz and view questions
Locate the quiz in your table of contents, hover over it, click More Options, then click Edit. Click on the Questions tab to view your questions. Depending on your LaunchPad, you may see a Review & Modify tab instead.
Edit your question
If your quiz has a Questions tab, hover over the question and click the Edit link.
If your quiz has a Review & Modify tab, click the Edit link on the right of the question.
Note that if you've already started editing this question, the link in the lower right may read Edit Feedback.
Click "Add Feedback" in the lower right hand corner of the "Question Editor"
Notice that the question is visible behind the gray bar at the top of the editor. This is how you know this box is appropriate for adding general feedback.
