Change the batteries

The most common fix for this problem is changing the batteries. In general, batteries showing a reading of less than 2.7 V need to be replaced. You can check the voltage of your remote's batteries in the status bar at the top of the iOLab application.

Remote 1 is showing 2.99V.
Use a screwdriver to open the back of your iOLab device and replace the two AA batteries. Replace the back and try again.

Make sure the device is paired

If your device is not paired with a dongle, it will automatically shut off after 90 seconds to conserve power.
