- Donna Neblett
Director of Educator Preparation Program and Accreditation at University of Tennessee at MartinDonna Neblett began her career as a classroom teacher. From there, she served the Tennessee State Department of Education as a technology and data specialist before returning to her home school district to become the Director of Schools. As technology and the management of data converged, Mrs. Neblett joined a startup company, ThinkLink Learning, at Vanderbilt University and worked with them to guide the development of predictive student data for teachers to use in the classroom, following the idea that teachers should See What Students Know and Teach What They Need. She developed training modules and delivered them to thousands of classroom teachers across the Southeast. After ThinkLink Learning merged with Discovery Education, a subsidiary of The Discovery Channel, Mrs. Neblett established and managed a team of top educators from across the country to deliver professional development focused on using real time data to guide course content. She then served Dyersburg State Community College as Director of Admissions before moving to the University of Tennessee Martin as Director of a 1.3-million-dollar federal grant, Teacher Quality Partnership. Mrs. Neblett is currently serving at UT Martin as the Director of the Educator Preparation Program and Accreditation. Under her leadership, the UT Martin EPP became CAEP Accredited in 2018 with no stipulations or AFIs.
- Libba McMillan
Associate Professor, School of Nursing at Auburn UniversityLibba Reed McMillan is an Associate Professor at Auburn University School of Nursing in Auburn University, Alabama. She earned both BSN and PhD in Educational Psychology degrees from Auburn University, a Bachelor of Science from the University of Maryland in Business and Management; and a MSN from the University of Texas in Adult Health, Teaching, and Cardiovascular Clinical Specialist. Dr. McMillan has served as the Evaluation Chair at Auburn University School of Nursing since 2011. Dr. McMillan’s expertise includes program evaluation at the University and nursing program level and has delivered presentations at professional multidisciplinary conferences on topics related to accreditation standards, student learning assessment, and communicating data-driven program outcomes. She also brings diverse nursing patient care practice experience and expertise across the lifespan-- including critical care, junior-senior high school nursing, maternal-child, cardiovascular rehabilitation, medical-surgical, training and development, care of veterans and wounded warriors, and emergency nursing. McMillan serves in the role of leader for Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) site-visits and as a site-visit team member for the Society for Simulation in Healthcare (SSH).
