I am using the Economics textbook by Krugman & Wells.
The students have access to Launchpad.
One of the students is asking about Power point slides.
Isn't there a way for the students to view the Power point slides in Launchpad?
Yes. In your LP course, you will find the powerpoints for each chapter under the Instructor Resources. They are currently grayed out and hidden from students. For the ones you want to share, go to that relevant chapter's powerpoint and go over to the far right to "More Options" then "Edit". If you want to assign them, put in a due date in the second tab and MOST IMPORTANTLY, on the third tab change them from the "Hide" option to the first, visible option.
If ever you have additional questions about where instructor or student resources are located in your LaunchPad course, you can reference the "What's in Your LaunchPad?" visual tour for your title. Here's a link to all the visual tours for Krugman and Wells. Simply scroll through the list until you see your title and click it to view the tour.
I am the powerpoint author- I would just warn you that the powerpoints do contain the answers to the embedded quiz/polling questions, so if you use them as I do for iClicker in class, be aware that students may see the answers ahead of time.
Thanks for the advice! I appreciate it.
Luckily, none of the answers to the assignments or exams are on the Power
I teach for an Online college and they write the assignments and exams.
